How conversion works.

Embroidery isn't printing — every shape becomes thousands of needle paths. Here's how we turn your artwork into a file your machine can actually stitch.

  1. 01
    Step 01

    Upload your artwork

Drag a PNG or SVG onto the converter. Files stay on your machine until you place an order — analysis runs locally in your browser.

  2. 02
    Step 02

    Review the analysis

We compute dimensions, distinct colors, resolution and a stitch count estimate. You'll see flags for anything that may need cleanup before stitching.

  3. 03
    Step 03

    Pick a complexity tier

Pricing is based on detected color count and finished size. No surprise fees — what you see is what you pay.

  4. 04
    Step 04

    Get your stitch file

A digitizer hand-tunes the file for your machine and delivers a download link within 24 hours.

Tips for the best stitch file.

A few rules of thumb that separate clean embroidery from a tangled mess.

Clean, flat-color artwork

Vector SVGs or PNGs with bold, separated shapes convert best.

300+ DPI for raster files

Lower DPI means jagged stitch edges. Aim for at least 300 at final embroidery size.

≤ 15 distinct colors

Most home machines support up to 15 thread changes per design.

Avoid photographic gradients

Smooth gradients don't translate well to discrete thread colors.

Avoid tiny text under 5mm

Letters smaller than 5mm tall tend to pucker or blur.

Avoid overlapping transparency

Alpha blending creates ambiguous color regions that need manual cleanup.
